Beginner Swing Class in Chicago
Discover the most timeless partner dance style as we twirl and twist the night away in our Beginner Swing Class! Swing is one of the most popular partner dance styles in Chicago. Learn to spin your partner and impress your date at the next wedding or social event. We will cover the basic of East Coast Swing and a couple of fun spins in this class. No previous dance experience necessary.
In this 50-minute dance class, you will learn:
Basic Swing Steps
Simple Turns
Basic Leading and Following Skills
Both singles and couples are welcome. To make it a fun social experience and help you understand the roles of leading and following, we rotate partners in class. Rotating is encouraged but optional.
What's more? You are welcome to bring your favorite wine/beer to help you loosen up. And it's a great way to meet new people or spend time with your friends!
*Alcohol consumption is permitted only for adults over 21.
*As always, this is an LGBTQ friendly event.
