Ballroom Dance Camp for Kids (Ages 7-12)

Is there a future Fred Astaire or Ginger Rogers in your family? Give your stars their start this summer with a Ballroom dance camp! Duet Dance Studio is offering a two-week camp for dancers 7-12 years old. Every Tuesday and Thursday, dancers will glide through basic steps for styles such as Foxtrot and Swing! We will also explore the history, fashion, and famous performances of Ballroom dance. From Fred and Ginger to Dancing with the Stars, dancers will learn the origins of these dance styles and where they are today. Camp will culminate in a final performance so dancers can show off their new moves for friends and family!

Where: Duet Dance Studio 2515 W. North Ave, Chicago IL

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 4 PM (Aug 18 to Aug 27, 2015)

Dress Code: Comfortable clothing and clean, thin-soled shoes. Ballroom dance shoes are recommended. No flip flops, rubber shoes, rain boots or chunky shoes.
