Latin Dance Summer Camp for Kids (Ages 7-12)

Shake up your child’s summer with a Latin dance camp! Duet Dance Studio is offering a 2-week camp for dancers 7-12 years old. Every Tuesday and Thursday, dancers will stomp, clap, and shimmy through basic steps for dance styles like Salsa and Rumba! Through creative play and music games we will learn about the different rhythms and instruments used for each style. From Carmen Miranda to Shakira, our dancers will explore the origins of Latin dance and where it is today. Camp will culminate in a final performance so dancers can show off their new moves for friends and family!

Where: Duet Dance Studio 2515 W. North Ave, Chicago IL

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4 PM (July 14 to 23, 2015) 

Dress Code: Comfortable clothing and clean, thin-soled shoes. Ballroom dance shoes are recommended. No flip flops, rubber shoes, rain boots or chunky shoes.

Cost: $200/student
