Beginner Salsa Class in Chicago
Let's spice things up in our Beginner Salsa Dance Class! It's a great introductory class to the spicy Latin dance styles. Salsa is considered the king of Latin dances and it is one of the most popular dance styles in Chicago. Salsa is a combination of different dance styles, such as Mambo, Cha Cha and Merengue. It is just like the sauce, "salsa," a delicious mixture of various ingredients.
In this fun and casual 50-minute lesson, you will learn:
Basic Salsa Steps
Simple Turns
Basic Leading and Following Skills
Both singles and couples are welcome. To make it a fun social experience and help you understand the roles of leading and following, we rotate partners in class. Rotating is encouraged but optional.
What's more? You are welcome to bring your favorite wine/beer to help you loosen up. And it's a great way to meet new people or spend time with your friends!
*Alcohol consumption is permitted only for adults over 21.
