Beginner Bachata Class in Chicago
Come learn the hottest dance moves and shimmy the night away in our Beginner Bachata Dance Class! Bachata is one of the most popular Latin dance styles and is often danced in Chicago social dance venues. Similar to Salsa, it is upbeat, sensual and full of exciting turns and hip action.
In this fun and casual 50-minute class, you will learn:
Basic Bachata Steps
Simple Turns
Basic Leading and Following Skills
Both singles and couples are welcome. To make it a fun social experience and help you understand the roles of leading and following, we rotate partners in class. Rotating is encouraged but optional.
What's more? BYOB! You are welcome to bring your favorite wine/beer to help you loosen up. And it's a great way to meet new people or spend time with your friends!
*Alcohol consumption is permitted only for adults over 21.
