Dance Internship Chicago

Duet Dance Studio, a growing ballroom dance studio in Bucktown Chicago, is looking for PART-TIME DANCE INTERNS to join our team. This opportunity is great for anyone who is seeking a dance teaching career in a fun and welcoming dance studio. The is a paid internship and interns will receive ballroom dance instruction, teacher training and hands-on experiences. Successful interns have the potential to secure a dance instructor position. Dance experience is required. Ballroom/partner dance experience is a plus but not necessary.

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Experienced in dance with a strong interest in ballroom and social dance forms

• Experienced with general computer tasks and social media

• Experienced with customer service

• Available Monday to Friday evenings and possibly Saturday afternoons

• Able to commit to at least 10 hours per week for 3 months

Interns' Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting students

• Scheduling lessons

• Handling emails and phone calls

• Assisting in dance classes and events

• Promoting events

• Social media

• Editing videos

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the studio
