Nick

Guest Artist

Nick was born and raised in southern Indiana, right across the river from Louisville, Kentucky, where he was in educational and professional theater and dance since 3rd grade. He continued his theatrical career after high school and received his BFA in Musical Theater from Ball State University in 2019 and quickly moved to Orlando, Florida to work for Disney World. Soon after that adventure, he set sail to work in the Caribbean with Norwegian Cruise Lines. Nick eventually found his new home in Chicago in the Summer of 2021 and he's been here ever since. Nick is in love with the city and loves his Duet Dance family.

You can find Nick in musicals all around the Chicago area. His most recent productions he has been a part of were Disney's The Little Mermaid, Rent, and Billy Elliot. Most of these roles include different styles of dance such as Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop. Along with Duet Dance, Nick is a group fitness instructor at Pure Barre in the South Loop, as well as an Assisted Stretching Instructor at StretchLab in Old Town. One could say Nick wears many hats in a lot of different parts of the city, and he's glad Duet is one of them.

Growing up in the musical theater realm of dance has given Nick a great appreciation for acting through movement. Each gesture has an emotion backed behind it and every dance step with his partner is an unspoken dialogue. He loves to find joy in everything he does and is excited to share his passion with others. When Nick has free time on his hands, he enjoys experimenting in the kitchen to find new recipes, doing some kind of aerobic exercise, or finding another hands on hobby to try out!
