Nat's last recording session came on Dec. 3, 1964 completing his soon-to-be released L.O.V.E album. "L-O-V-E" was one of the three songs Nat recorded that day, and he would pass away less than 3 months from the date of this session. Penny & The Quarters are a "lost" soul band which came to prominence in 2010 after an unreleased demo of their song "You And Me" was used in the film Blue Valentine. Presumably teenagers at the time, Penny & The Quarters were invited to audition by Harmonic Sounds Studio in Columbus, Ohio, recording three demo songs in all.
